News: Cedar Point rolls out new web site design

The entire site has a new interface. The homepage is the only page that actually looks like it used to. More pictures, videos, and other features, for the first time CP has a site worth looking at and that site is still down.

It looks to be officially up & running.

Firefox has been having some real troubles ever since I upgraded my flash player. It crashes every time I try to view it. :(

The site looks awesome! More than I would have ever guessed they would have packed into the site! I love all the photos, but I find it kind of sad to see all those photos that once use to be simply in the park collection and for advertisements and what not when Dan Feicht was still there, now all on the internet, if you can understand what I mean... :(

The site is up now as of 3:45 EST.

Is it just me or does the CP site not display properly in Firefox? The top banner is gone and the bottom banner appears on the top and nothing else besides the navigation bar on the side shows up. In IE, it looks much different...

Yah, it's having some Firefox issues. I didn't have the problems you described, but I couldn't get most of the videos to work.

I'm haven't had any issues with Firefox. Videos work OK for me.

What version is everyone using? 1.0.x or 1.5?

Has anyone noticed that a lot of things are repeated? The menus all repeat themselves, there are two sets of pictures in the galleries I have viewed, along with a few other instances of doubles.

I'm using 1.5, and I can't view the site at all. I think I may need to install a later version of flash for the site to work. Until now its yucky IE time.

I'm using 1.5.0.1 with no problems.

Ahh, I fixed it. Apparently, if you have Ad-Block installed, you have to disable those little block tabs that appear on ads in order to view sites properly.

If anyone else was having that problem, here's what you can do to fix it. :)

I can't download the videos with firefox. When I click on the download link the video comes up in a new window. I tried right-clicking but that doesn't work either. Tried to look for the video source as well.

Turning off Ad-block solved my issue with the page looking messed up.

The Photo Gallery for SkyHawk construction repeats itself.

There seem to be a few glitches in the photo galleries, mainly the ride construction ones. They are out of order and many of them are double posted and the captions are missing.

As an FYI, the park has introduced a "lite graphics" version of the site for those with slower connections. It is available at the bottom of the front page. Those with detected slower connections will also be given a link.
