Amen for sure. Seeing the demand a hopeful indicator that operations will maintain/improve through the next year.

Maverick will not operate today, per CP Social Media. That's a bad beat on what is going to likely be the busiest day of the year.

Looks like a decent crowd today given the parking lot.

It was busy today for sure. We managed 20 rides in 7 hours with our fastlane plus, but observed full queue Corkscrew, Gemini and Magnum. I usually don't get to CP in October so I hadn't seen Magnum backed up to it's entrance since I was a kid. Not really the same with the distancing in line, but the app was quoting it at 75 minutes when I checked. Park looks really nice, the trick or treat up at Kiddy Kingdom was super popular from what we saw. The pumpkins over past Dragster were really cool.

Those rides have been getting full queues on October Saturdays for the last several years. The experience for October Saturdays is relatively similar as it has been, with the addition of the access passes as an added fun challenge

Traditionally a full Magnum queue is about 75 minutes. You would expect with social distancing in the queue it would be quite a bit shorter, but factor in reduced capacity and I imagine all the usual queue length milestones would be about as normal.

That's how it seems to be. Half the people in the queue but also half the people on the ride. The usual visual benchmarks aren't too far off, but for adding in extra time for the cleaning and then empty trains that follow

With that being the case, is the number of reservation slots available set so high as to only restrict a max capacity park where the causeway is full waiting for other cars to leave the park?

I couldn't imagine visiting right now without FastLane. Good for the parks, though. Saw Dollywood and SDC had to issue attendance alerts today as well, and KI is packed.

We were there today. Normally I wouldn't have gone this weekend but our camping and canoeing reservations were cancelled so we all had the day off so I made reservations and took the chance and it lived up to the Columbus Day weekend reputation even with attendance capped. We were there 4 hours and rode Cedar Downs and Beetle Bugs. Tried to make the train and couldn't fit. Spent some time just sitting on the swing in the rest area and walked the beach and left. It took us at least 20 minutes to get on Cedar Downs, in that time the ride went 2 cycles and then from the time we got on our horses it was another 10 minutes before the ride started had to be the most inefficient ride op ever. At least the weather was beautiful and I got some exercise.

Any stories to tell about trying to leave the lot at park closing Saturday ?

We left early so had no issues other than it's confusing right now with all the cones and new traffic pattern.
