Anyone know if I can get my already purchased CP only parking pass changed to the all Ohio parking pass?

Nevermind, the new blog answers that question.

"single non-transferable parking sticker per non-commercial vehicle" is all I need to see, and now let the great parking sticker debate begin again..

Yes, its a sticker, get over it already. Did you expect them to suddenly announce on pass parking?

At least this gets around Ohio's law about 2 stickers max.

I wasn't speaking for myself...I live in Michigan...but for all of those people who hated in the other thread, this one's for them..

Well, it sounds like they've been listening to us. The blog also states "additional passes can be purchased for $10".

Although its still a sticker, you can get one for the second vehicle for just $10.

The All-Ohio parking pass is only $5 more than the Cedar Point only parking pass, so this is an awesome deal!

This still dont help me...I have 3 cars.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

^^ - For now, don't be surprised if the prices jump after the holidays.

Count me in. Especially with the "pay nothing until March" option.

That rocks.

Even though 70 dollars for a parking pass is really steep in my opinion, the 5 bucks more seems fair to me. I'll probably be getting it. :)

We spend a lot of time ragging Cedar Fair when they make bonehead decisions. They equally deserve our kudos when they try to make up for it, and get it right. Good job, Mr. Kinzel!

If I had any doubt before, it's settled. I'm getting the All Ohio parking pass. It may not be quite as convenient as when it was imprinted on the season pass, but it's a heckuva improvement from plan A. :)

Well, it's a step in the right direction.

But obviously they haven't figured out what to do with people like me...I bought my Maxx Pass from Kings Island because it *included parking*, then bought a parking pass from Cedar Point.

And I still hate parking stickers.

I wonder if I should call yet. If they knew how they were going to handle this situation, I imagine they would probably have mentioned it on one of the referenced pages...

Yep, they're gonna get Jamie and I to spend over $300 for next year. Yes, it's slightly more expensive, but I see us doing more traveling next year. I'm very excited about this. Cedar Fair finally wised up. Couple questions though. First, on our first visit to the park, if we choose to buy a second sticker, will we both have to drive on the first day we go? How will that work? *** Edited 11/21/2006 11:01:52 PM UTC by Jeff Young***

I wonder how long this decision has been in the works? I'm guessing since they started getting complaints, which would also probably be about the time the topic popped up on here (I'm not making any connections, just stating).

Good move on their part. My mom may just buy that MAXX Pass and the Ohio parking sticker.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

^^I suspect on your first visit you will buy another certificate for your second car. Then when you bring that second car for the first time, you'll turn in that certificate and get the sticker put on that car. Just a guess though.

This is definitely a smart move for CP, although I'd still like to see the non-sticker option. Guess you can't win them all though. I bought the $50 CP parking pass on sale, so I'm not sure yet if I'll go to the other parks enough to justify the extra $25, but for someone buying the $70 CP pass, the extra $5 is a no brainer.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

THAT is definitely a step in the right direction....especially the additional vehicle for $10, which was my biggest complaint about the sticker.

And now they are offerring deferred payment? Does this mean they won't charge the credit card until March??

I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

Still seems like a bit if a gimmick to me, but it's certainly a step in the right direction.

I also bought my Parking voucher for $50 about a month ago. I just sent an inquiry as to how best to go about upgrading from the "CP Only" voucher to the "All Ohio Voucher".

The answer on how to upgrade is pretty clear on the CP blog. It even gives the address to send your voucher and check to.
