- There will be no changes that the public will see this season.
Guess that means waiting till next year for the season passes to open up.

I can't see them charging much more for a MiAdv pass or a Valleyfair pass than they currently do. I have a feeling that in OH the prices will go up, just because you have a couple parks all within a 2 or 3 hour drive (if you live smack in the middle).
If you're in Michigan, and they raise the MA pass by 50 bucks, whats the value?

Thanks for the abridged version Walt!
Trying to keep up with things while I work... this is an excellent service!

According to Microsoft Map Point it's 4:11 from CP to MA and 3:18 from CP to KI. Although I can't be sure, I don't think there will be any extra charge for season pass holders.

I missed some of it, so I don't have notes. But there is a reply available through cedarfair.com.

I thought about taking notes, but I was sure that Walt would have them. :) Oh well. The main things that I remember are:
-No plans have been made as far as pricing structures for next year.
-No changes will be made for the 2006 season (at least as far as the public can see).
-Nothing is known for 2006 Winterfest at PKI (a decision should be made by Labor Day though).
-Nickelodeon license good for another four years, and there is an option to bring Nick to the other parks for additional $.
-Paramount movie license standing is unknown at this point, but something was said about it being good for another 10 years, but there is a buyout option. I may have misunderstood.
-Cedar Point and PKI will still be competing for the discretionary dollar, meaning that there's so much else that people could be spending their money on that the parks must continue to make capital expenditures to draw the people in. Cedar Point will not stop building rides like Millennium Force because of lack of competition.
-Cedar Fair will now have four parks that have over 3 million guests a year (CP, PKI, Knotts, and Canada's Wonderland).
-Cedar Fair will likely not make any more acquisitions in the next three or four years because they will be concentrating on these five parks.
-Cedar Fair will use history as its guide. If a Paramount park has a plan in place that is working well, Cedar Fair may try to bring some of those plans to their other parks, and vice versa.
I'm sure there was a lot more, but this is all I remember off the top of my head.

Is it going to be through the same hosting thing they used for the original, or are they just going to host an mp3 or some downloadable format.
Goodbye MrScott
John
They didn't say, I was thinking the delay was for editing, and then making available as a download or such.
First trip June 23rd
Both conference calls will be made available for replay starting at approximately 4:00 p.m. ET, Monday, May 22, 2006, until 11:59 p.m. ET, Monday, June 5, 2006. In order to access the replay of the conference call, please dial 1-877-519-4471 followed by the access code 7426624 for the investor call and access code 7426623 for the media call.
From the original press release. This type of replay is the typical method for conference calls like this, I wouldn't count on it being downloadable from anywhere but I wouldn't be surprised if it was.
2006 CP Visits: Lost count...

Did any of you hear about Project 2007 at Cedar Point. Dick Kinzel said look for an announcement in late August. So we are still a little ways off.
