I hope you're correct, and I may have not chosen my words carefully. I read that article on coasterbuzz, which didn't sound all that comforting. The owner has a heckuva lot of debt load, relatively little of which seems like it can be attributed to the hurricanes. But let's keep our fingers crossed. I visited CG last year for the first time, and fell in love with the place -- more the gardens than the rides themselves -- so I'd hate to see it go away.

This is off-topic and I wanted to post here instead of starting a new thread. This morning, I received a personal letter from Geauga Lake's Colleen Murphy, Director of park operations. I had sent them a letter of appreciation which included a few minor positive criticisms. They told me they were glad that I had taken the time to write to them and they were happy that I had a great time there. They told me that they would share this info with the Director of Food Services, Manager of Ride Operations and Manager of Aquatics to share with their staffs. I know that most of the time, they probably cannot personally respond. I was really surprised and happy that I received one. Everyone here and at Coasterbuzz says to be heard, you must talk with or e-mail guest relations and I did just that because I honestly want them to know how good of a time I had there and my little criticisms as well so that they can take that and improve upon guest experience. Personally, they just scored brownie points with me. I will be back next year, especially since we over at PKICentral are planning a chartered bus trip to hit all three parks next season.
