Thanks for the update Walt!

There are 47 of us coming down in a bus from Ontario on the 10th, and everyone will be thrilled that the Force is back up and running!

"If at first you don't succeed... don't try skydiving"

They told us during lunch at Coastermania that they were trying to get it up and running by the night ERT. They did and it was sweet, we were on Mean Streak when we saw it test, but we decided to hold off and ride it 6 times in a row during ERT.

There does not seem to be any more pull when you reach the top. It's a lot faster going up then it was a few weeks ago.

We did hear an op saying that it was still a little glitchy and the catch car was not returning to the bottom, as fast as it should be. At least it works....

Awesome! hopefully I'll get down there in a week or so to get back on. I was there Sunday and tuesday and It was down. :(

It wouldn't be unheard of for something to not be quite the same after a major replacement of something. In 04, they replaced our lift motor at Magnum and our interval went from 1:20 to 1:24. We kept asking them to adjust it since it was not helping our numbers, but it never happened that season. I timed it last year and it seemed to be back to normal. I haven't bothered timing it this year.

Halleluliah! Amen!!! I'm getting my MF fix tomorrow morning! Much better than going to church and a whole lot more uplifting!

Did anyone notice that the ride didn't speed up like it usually does about 1/2 up the hill. I was waiting for it didn't happen on any of my rides.

It speeds up when the waiting block is clear I believe. *** Edited 6/4/2006 1:19:05 AM UTC by Gomez***

Yes, it usually speeds up after that block is cleared, however that wasn't happening when the ride was operating last night. It felt very weird not to feel that little burst before you crest the top.

Interesting, I always thought it added some extra terrior to the whole lift hill experence.

Maybe it was just me, but it felt like the lift as a whole was a little bit slower than usual. I'm sure any differences are just due to the nature of breaking in the new motor.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

Gomez,

There are small yappy dogs on the lift hill? How'd they get up there? ;)
