New Year Update

^Can you or someone else who reads your post explain this for myself or others who aren't familiar with these terms? For example, what area is "pull up", what is "catch car"? Thanks.

There's a writeup on the Dragster launch hardware and process here, though Dave uses the term "pusher" in place of "catch car". In any case, the catch car is what temporarily attaches to the train to launch it down the track. Once disengaged from the moving train, that catch car needs to be slowed and stopped, which is what Jeff is referring to.
