I can't be the only one that misses the old, old, old site with the coasters running along the top of the page. http://www.cedarpoint.com/"]http://web.archive.org/web/20050910003758/http://www.cedarpoint.com/
I remember that too, I used to love watching the coasters run at the top of the screen....too bad they took that down :(

Is there still a paddle wheel boat in the water on the park map?NM -- Didn't see where it noted its the 2011 map.
The Paddlewheel boat is not on the 2012 map. There is now a bridge on the map connecting the island to the main land.

I love the new Cedar Point website! The only thing that's missing on the roller coaster page is the facts and the POV videos of our favorite roller coasters. Looks like Cedar Point, Kings Island, Kings Dominion, Canada's Wonderland, and Carowinds have the website design. Are they updating all the Cedar Fair park websites? California's Adventure still has the old Paramount look and the Michigan Adventure website is just plain lame.

All are getting updated.

Imagine your favorite tv show. You've been through it all. The ups, the downs, the crazy coincidences and then bang! They tell you what it's all about. Would you be happy? Does it make sense? How come it all ended in a church? - Joker
Also it does not look that they have to where you can click on the web cams anymore and make them bigger and they don't all update automatically.... maybe it just me?
First rollback on Dragster July 23 2003 since then 15
I think they're still working out all of the bugs on the site. It's gonna take a little bit to get the site fully functioning!
You guys all nailed what I miss from the site. The rides at the top of the page (along with the climate change of the day), the POVs, and the ride facts. These little descriptions they have going on just aren't cutting it.
My only complaint was that the pictures took a fairly long time to load on an otherwise decently fast internet connection. Other than that, it seems to be a pretty nice looking site. Although I too miss the banner with the rides on it.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
I personally think they should go back to this format instead ;)

I'm with you. I loved that site.
Make that 3. Talk about nostalgia. That was the site that was around at the beginning of my interest in parks and coasters (albeit the one angled from the MF side of the peninsula like so:

Still one of the coolest banners I have ever seen. I completely forgot about it! I was always on there to "Win Tickets". Sadly, I never did.
While we're looking up oldies...

Anybody else having trouble finding old blog posts?
Yeah I noticed that. Looks like they didn't carry over to the new site because the archive only shows January 2012. Kind of a bummer if you ask me. Really enjoyed going through some of the older ones.

The map is now updated to the 2012 pdf. The Mat Racer looks to be this version of ProSlide. http://www.proslide.com/rides_07_b.php

I know this thread is old news, but Cedar Fair has recently updated California's Great Adventure website! Now they just need to do that to Michigan's Adventure!
The new map still has the screen in front of the train station.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
I read something the other day that there's still updating to do. Cedar Point still has to upload their Fast Lane rides. Canada's Wonderland, Kings Island and Knotts Berry farm already have there's listed.
I just checked all the websites and they all have been updated besides Michigans Adventure and Valleyfair.
