New webcam location?

if you go to www.cedarpoint.com and go to the live webcams the top webcam says this

A view of Sandusky Bay and the progress of construction at Lighthouse Point from the 360-foot-level of Top Thrill Dragster.

but the picture is still out of service.

That would be pretty cool, but I can't believe they'd be moving the PT cam. I would think they would move of of the other two that are easier to get at.

I can't believe they're putting a webcam on the Lighthouse Point construction. I can only imagine the fun I'll have watching that webcam....

That is just as interesting to me as watching them build a 400 ft metal box, maybe more interesting.

I was right way back when by the way...Circle A is bye-bye. It won't be long before Circle B is history.

I agree with Dan. Although if they would take me one level higher..that would be very nice too. ;)

I don't know about everyone else but I think the construction on the new cabins will be cement slab, pre-fab walls, and shingled roofing. (C-P-S). I guess it'll be O.K. but this is Cedar Point and I just expected something a little more. Will it be worth paying for to stay there? I mean it's so simple? This really is getting exciting!!

The cabins are pre-assembled.. so one day they won't be there.. the next day they will..

Which is exactly my point. How interesting can that get? Why not put a webcam on something else, like a coaster thats getting re-painted? Although I suppose that this is a matter of opinion..

I imagine that the coasters being painted is one of those things they want everyone to kinda see opening day.

Doubt you'll see any online from employee's still there. Causes too many waves.

From what I understand Luke, the cabins are really nice and Lighthouse Point is the hottest property at Cedar Point now. It doesn't matter if they are prefab, Lighthouse Point looks very nice. So, yes, it's worth staying there.

Yeah, watching paint dry is so much better. Why don't they just put a web cam in the offices? We can watch people walk by or type on a computer. Who cares? If its not a coaster being built its boring.

Actually, with the comments made in another thread about the winter and snowfall it might be nice to have a webcam on the trail. That way, you would get a chance to see the trail at it's most beautiful time...in my opinion.

However lame my attempt at some sarcasm was I know the cabins are nice, good for large groups too. I was kinda poking fun at myself as one of the people last year saying Dragster wasn't going to be L-T-B. And also a little poke to all the people saying they wouldn't wait in line. Oh well, I guess I'll have to laugh at myself again.

I know no one cares really about the construction of LP, but you can see that they are putting the cabins in their spots now.

P.S. I needs to get warmer so you computer nerds can get outside, if you even do go outside of your room in your parents house. I agree with the cam on the trail that would be really beautiful to look at.

I'm not a computer nerd. I just got home from school. I looked at the webcams and notice this. It's only 20 degrees here and I don't have a car. I don't have anything to do. So I'm not a computer nerd. It's called being bored. I sure you been bored a few time in your life too.
