I am sure this will interest some of you. Looks like they moved that wecam.
One of the views I suggested in previous threads. Very nice.
I can't wait till next summer to see that midway booming with people.
Ahhh....I miss the old Demon Drop cam.

makes you wonder..... why? Could there be developments on the midway? Only time will tell
Could just be because its a great view that can easily be used to judge the "busy-ness" of the park. I like it, especially since we should easily be able to see the fall tear-down and spring set-up really easily from this angle.

Boy that is a good view. Too bad there isn't a way for them to attach it to one of the Sky Ride gondolas during the regular season. That would really be cool.

Needs to be moved a little more to the left. :)
But besides that, it is a really good view. I always liked looking off of the Sky Ride platform and watching the people.

Maybe there going to repave the main midway. It looks horrible expecially down by dogems with all the miss matched concrete. It just an idea.
I always thought the midways should be repaved too. It does look bad. They could do it with a cycle, like they do with repainting the rides. The main midway needs it the most though..

This is a really nice view. It will be great to watch during the winter months, making us feel like we are on the midway!
Thrills Around the Corner!
Yeah it would be very expensive. A driveway probably costs over 2 grand. CP is like 2000 driveways. That would be over 4,000,000 dollars. I doubt they would do that. They'd be better off doing sections at a time that need it the most.
"Probably costs over 2 grand?" Have you priced new driveways lately?
Mine is about 100 feet and to tear it up, haul off the old driveway, prep, pour, and cut it'd be about 8-10 grand. No joke.
Yeah that's 100 feet. I'm talking about a typical 20ftx15ft driveway. Not a big driveway. But you're right. IT's EXPENSIVE!
I agree! We just finished learning about concreting in Building Trades Class at high school and knowing the equation for concrete yardage and price.... I agree that it will indeed cost some $$$$$.

I'm hope they keep it there all next summer so I can look at it to see if i want to go to the park depending on how crowded the main midway is that day.
Living so close to CedarPo!nt is shigidy sweeet!! not to mention a summer place where I can look at the park from the beach across the Lake Erie bay swoot!!
