New video in gallery

The gallery has been updated with various new video clips. Most come in three flavors: Windows Media (which will detect your connection speed and adjust accodingly), a small QuickTime, which should very nearly stream if you have a broadband connection, and a large, high-quality QuickTime that runs at a full 30 fps. To save the QT's, just use the drop down box to "save as," provided you're using the pro version.

Thanks. I really like the fly by in the historical section. Who shot it?

The fly-by was on the press production reel with the Magnum POV in '89, so presumably it was shot by Dan Feicht. The MF reel had the POV and time-lapse.

When you "get around" the ads, you're free loading because you remove the only means I have to recover costs from this site. This site isn't cheap to operate, and video isn't cheap to serve. If you're going to start telling people how to get around the ads, the video will go away.

If you have the registered version of QuickTime, all you need to do is click the little arrow at the bottom right and click "save movie."

If you haven't paid for QuickTime, you should. It is hands down the best quality for the bandwidth used, and the player isn't a big cluttered mess like Windows Media and Real.
