Talking with my dad we came up with a new ride design tell me what you think. It's a ride like the red side of Powertower were it shoots you up, but instead of going straight up the track twist like going up Wickedtwister. So you get on like Powertower and launch up but then the track twist, so you spin going up then down. The whole idea is a ride I will think twice about before getting on.
I WILL ALWAYS KICK THE SKY.
Totally awsome ride concept. Don't know how it would do if it actually was tested.

I think it would be cool if they had a drag type ride the launches you, but instead of going up and around like the Dragster does, it would be like you were on an actual drag track!
Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs
That be awesome, it be cool if as soon as it reached the top it crested over a hill and fell back down backwards.
First rollback=opening weekend '09
^ Why don't we just turn Dragster's trains around. :-)

I think the physics of the ride would do kinda not be good on the human body. The reason wicked twister works is becuase you are slowing down through the twist. Being launched straight up or straight down would tend to want throw bodies outward when you twist. Kinda why the heartline roll was taken out Maverick.Just a my thought, I am not a physics major only a fire science and law enforcement major.
Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.
I'm sure if you spaced out the twists, so not all the force is put on you at the same time, it would work. Just like on Maverick's roll, if it was more spaced out, and not a tight element, it would have worked. (IMO)
Let's Get Weird.
It'd be different, but I don't know if that ride would be popular.

Any CAD people out there that can come up with a mock picture of that this would look like?

They used to have that at Olde Town in Kissimmee, Florida, where the 300-foot Skycoaster is. It went something like 100 mph in about 2 seconds, used compressed air like Hypersonic (may she rest in peace). However, nobody ever rode it and they lost money hand over fist, so they tore it up and got rid of it in September. I saw it in action on Labor Day weekend shortly before it was decommissioned, it didn't look like anything special. Really quick acceleration, really quick deceleration, all for like $20. No thanks.
Oh well. It was just a thought! I was looking through a travel book about universal Orlando. It would be cool for them to put in a coaster like the Dueling Dragons! Have it interlocak with several of the existing coasters! I mean the views at cedarpoint are awsome, but it would be cool to interlock several coasters like that! I know other parks do that, but I still think it would be cool especially since they are running out of space there!

They are not running out of SPACE! we have been to that topic more then enough. But it would be cool to see a couple interlocking coasters.

Wait they demolished the 300 foot Ripcord type ride???? I hope I'm reading that wrong because thats my main reason for going to Florida next year!
Let's Get Weird.
Since when does a Ripcord type ride use compressed air and go 100 MPH? He's talking about the drag racing ride. The 300 ft. Skycoaster is good and well (and beats the heck out of Ripcord as far as free fall sensation goes).
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
