New Trains for MF?

When will this happen? After riding Bizarro's new trains, the coaster rides much more smoothly. MF didn't feel that smooth riding it a few weeks ago. I really like Intamin's newest Hyper/Mega/Giga coaster train design compared to the previous Bizarro/Superman and MF ones. TTD's trains seem to be holding together much better, however.

Weren't MF's trains already replaced/refurbed once?

Please God, never bring those new trains anywhere near CP. Those new restraints leave me with absolutely no extra leg room. They did ride a bit smoother, but IMO it isn't worth the discomfort.

MF did originally come with one green train.

Besides the seat belts, nothing is bad about the trains. There is no need for new ones.

Let's Get Weird.

The smoother ride was most likely entirely the result of a new set (properly broken in of course) of very good wheels. I remember when they were messing with the wheel formulas for Maverick back in 2007 and the ride would be different in literally every seat every time they switched up the wheels. I had some butter smooth rides, and some horrible vibration during others. I really don't think there is a need for new trains, as the current ones are just fine.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

I never understand when people say Millennium Force is rough...it blows my mind away. It's fine the way it is.

They do not need to waste money on new trains. Yes, I do think the ride vibrates to much. There is no need at all to waste money on new trains.

They do need to be replaced, or at least the wheels. I rode Millie a few years after it was built and it was light-years more smooth than it is now.

Like I said; replace the trains? No. Replace wheels? Yes, and they already have somewhat of a schedule for that, or when they happen to blow (like Wicked Twister with 3-6 blown wheels on an almost daily basis, which makes me laugh). They know roughly how long the wheels should last, and maybe they're pushing the life a little longer (wouldn't surprise me, budget cuts!), but it is what it is.

They could be pushing the life a little bit because its also the end of the season. Or rather than replacing an obviously failing wheel at 5pm on Sunday, they let it run and just swap it out after the park's closed for the week.

I totaly agree.

The restraints on bizzaro are the most uncomfortable I have ever experianced.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Speaking of new trains on rides, does anyone know if Magnum's trains have ever been replaced?

Wheels get replaced all of the time. Springs maybe less frequently. I thought the trains were tracking better this year than they were last year, but they were never rough.

The SFNE trains have been hacked at, twice. The first time because someone made poor a poor decision to let a man ride who could not be restrained, and he was subsequently eject and died. The second time, it was to add audio and make the restraints suck less.

I find nothing wrong with Bizarro's newer train restraints, but I'm sure a major determining factor would be how "irregular" ones body form is (as described by the riding rules at the park). And SROS did not receive new trains after the man was ejected from the ride. They retrofitted seat belts as well as an Infrared detection system that determines if the restraint is at a low enough level to keep the rider safe at all times.
