New to the boards

Hi! Neat board you have here. I might as well introduce myself before I get too nosy! I'm Courtney (Courts or Shades is fine) and I'm a coasterholic. I live near Detroit, and I'm a second-year CP season pass holder and a first-year ACE member. I'm married to a fellow coaster enthusiast, and we both make the 1:45 drive to CP every other week. Other than coasters, my main obsessions include origami, beadwork, and polymer clay. That's it for now. I'll see you all on the board soon!

Hey Courtney welcome to the boards!!! I too am a newbie to the boards, just fresh from CP my first time last week, and I swear I'm hooked. When I get my lisence early next year I'm driving down there with my friends and not coming back for a week!! When I say that I mean that I'll probably get lost coming back... Nevertheless welcome to the boards and I hope you'll find as much fun here as I have in the past week!

Hello, I´m new here also, and i´m suprisely called "modelmaker"

I took that name because i make a lot of models in 3D studio max and I want to do that with CP coasters also. ( see something from me: http://www.truetracky.com/3DSM.htm )

I´m 18 years old, i live in Holland, Europe. I love all kinds of rollercoasters, next year I´m going to CP and all kind of other parks in the US and my favorite coaster is Colossos in Heidepark, Germany.

Rene, Have you seen the work of Badnitrus (Keith McVeenn)?

It's very impressive. He uses 3D Studio Max for creating renderings and animations of coasters...here's a link:

Intamin2K, I live in Trenton, which is about fifteen minutes south of Detroit down I-75. That's quite a trip from Utica, CPCyclone!

I too am a newbie to this board, and love it here already. Just out of interest am i the only person on here from UK?
I am also currently a CP virgin, thats due to change in 4 weeks though.. :-)
