New style for future coasters..

I believe with Maverick, that Cedar Point is really influencing the idea that you don't need to ride the tallest or fastest in the world, to have the funnest time on a ride. I think this one's going to be a crazy ride, guys.

I have the "funnest" time no matter what I ride at CP.;)

There are a few others like Maverick already out there, CF is just a major player in the coaster market so it may draw more attention than others.

Disney's California Screamin is similar to Maverick. Just a launch first then a lift hill. I've have never been on it but it seems really boring. Maverick is more fast past and has inversions.

^ California Screamin' has an inversion. How could you forget the famous Mickey Mouse loop? :)

I would guess that a wooden coaster is next for CP. This I would assume be in the front of the park and I would think that by 2010 we will see a whole new looking front of the park.

Along with that thought. Any word on DD?

I believe that the last we heard was that it was still for sale; but as long as no one bought it, it would continue to be used. Anyone heard anything different?
