New seat belts this year?

I was just reading on Cedarpoint.com that Exceptional size is now 40 inch waist.

I could have sworn that it used to say 38 inch.

Dose this mean that we may expect an extra inch or two this season?

I know I let operations have it last season for fitting in a one seat on Millennium on one train and not on the next.

I know over the past few years it has read 40 inches on the waist. So I doubt there will be any change with the belts unfortunately.

Got hosed on Millenniumas well last year Phantom. It's ridiculous! Wait in line only to get a seat with a slightly smaller belt. Kinda ruined the mood for a few hours. Make them all uniform so I either fit or I don't.

Or periodically check the length of the test seat and compare it to the belts on the train. The belts will vary with age and repair, so simply take measurements and make the belt on the test seat as short as the shortest actual belt, and nobody will complain anymore. Or rather, they still will, but no longer with any rational reason.

Exercise and eat healthy, it's really not rocket science. The internet is loaded with tons of resources for strategies and tips on losing weight; I would recommend doing some searching around.

Do simple things like drinking water instead of pop

It's kinda funny. I did this a couple of years ago for about 6 months and gained about 10 pounds. That 10 pounds came off once I started drinking pop again. I'm sure it was just a coincidence, but definitely a bit perplexing.

Or that people believe that drinking diet soda gives them license to eat in other unhealthy ways, like it's a credit of some sort. The rationalizations that surround how we eat are pretty crazy, second only the rationalizations about how we spend money.

My advice is to always have ready access to a bike, and go for a ride whenever you can. It's the second most enjoyable way to burn calories. ;)

Or you could really tap into some common sense and not drink a lot of pop/soda etc altogether if you actually want to lose weight. It's a choice we all make everyday.

Bill2, if you don't mind me asking, how big are you? my friend wants to visit the park this year but isn't sure if he will be able to fit on the rides.

Also, can we please call it soda? took me a few minutes to figure out what you guys were talking about! we don't call it pop where i live!

We don't call it " soda" where we live. ;)

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I call it soda, and I live in a decidedly "pop"-centric area. :)

Not to fully revel my inner health nut, but doing very simple things like eating breakfast, not eating that midnight snack before you go to bed, as well as spreading out your meals so you can either eat small meals every few hours or only eat 3 big meals. Put of all of these, breakfast is the most important, as it jump-starts yur metabolism for the day, but that doesn't mean that you should be eating sausage and bacon for breakfast, you have to eat healthy too.

Well, now my health nerd is coming out, I should metion that regular trips to the park, so long as you stay for at least half of the day, provide great cardio when you're walking/running around the park. :)

I personally find anything that motivates someone to change themselves in a positive way to be wonderful...so if a lap on MF is it, fantastic.

We always called it pop.

And now I'm craving an Orange Crush.

In a bottle. :)

It's probably a result of my upbringing rather than geography, but I'm prone to "soft drink."

Eat smaller portions, more times a day to keep your system full...And start working out..I was 195 in January..I'm 174 as of today and I'm def. lean and building muscle too...Just work your body, keep on it, and be rigorous with your diet...Also watch your intake...That sandwich may look good from subway, but I worked there...They truly aren't that healthy....Even the ones that are semi-healthy, can quickly become unhelathy...Just eat right, and burn off what you injest so your body doesn't store it

Everyone seems to call it "pop" in Lucas county, but to each his own.

I love how nearly all of the South is "Coke".

I love that map.

A thing I found that I like to do is when you want something to eat but you truely aren't hungry fill a cup with crushed ice and chew on that. It tricks your mind into thinking you are eating when your not, thus losing the want to eat something. Gum also works.
