New Rumor

Go to the bottom of the page, it is the second entry up. It tells that the might move the antique cars or get rid of them all together.

That's been tossed around before. I think the consensus was that if anything is done to AC, it will be removed rather than reconfigured or moved. It might be moved to another park rather than scrapped, but I'm not sure about that.

Are you referring to the "new" rumor from 07/09/04? Here I thought it was 2006. :)

Where exactly are the antique cars? I only pay attention to where the roller coasters are...and the Power Tower.

Are they near frontier town?

They are right in front of where WWL used to be. If you draw a line from CCMR to the construction site, it'll pass over the AC.

I can't believe that I never paid attention to where the antique cars are. I have to really look the next time I go. Even though I won't be going back probably until Halloweekends.

Have they ever moved the antique cars before? I don't know why I thought they would've been more towards the front.

Cadillac Cars (and Turnpike Cars) are in the front.

The Cadillac Cars and Turnpike Cars are at the front of the park. Under Raptor.

Well I'm glad that I decided to take a ride on them with my girlfriend this year "just in case." ;)

I actually don't think they'll get rid of the antique cars. They're a classic at Cedar Point and have been there since the beginning. It's like getting rid of the Corkscrew!

You don't want to get rid of a classic, yet you never knew where they were? I'd vote for the Antique cars going before WWL. There are two other "car" rides in the park that are basically the same. WWL wasn't nearly the same as the two other water rides. But, I'm more excited about the coaster than I ever was about WWL. So, good move CP!! Take the Antiques out too - just leave some trees. :)

I really like the area of the park where the Antique cars are, especially with the nice trees and all. It would be a shame to see it go, but if they do get rid of it, I wonder if I could buy one of the Antique cars and cruise around in it...it's basically just a fancy looking golf cart.
