the video was an aerial shot of the construction and they basically said it was going to be a coaster. like we didn't know already....It also had an interview with the wed developer of Virtual Midway.

Hmm...another thing....he said it will be taking shape in about a month... to me it looks like its already taking shape....if its an L-TH-B, then its already taking shape...in a month at the rate they are going...if it would start taking shape in a month then its going to be alot bigger than L-TH-B

I think when they say "taking shape" that we'll be able to recognize the basic layout or main element on the ride, or the tophat. A month or two sounds about right.

The wait will end when you get through the queue and hop aboard. PLEASE keep your arms, head, legs in the car at all times. 0-120 in 4 seconds? I hope they install the HANS device on all seats like they have in the NASCAR cars, to prevent whiplash I believe...

How would you get whiplash if your head is against the restrain when it's launched, and you go forward? I'm pretty sure that the acceleration will plant you to you seat for the launch.

You know with every ride there are the boneheads that don't heed the warnings/instructions of the ride ops. As in "Watch this Bubba-Joe, they say this here ride will do 0-120 in 3 seconds...I'm gonna hold my head forward...just to see what'll happen". Just then, the train is launched and Bubba-Joe notices as they go over the tophat that Billy-Bob is unconscious from having his head slammed into the head restraint. Way off course???? Maybe so...maybe no...

Just a thought...If Cedar Fair built Xcellerator at Knotts do you really think that they would intice this much commotion about a duplicate at Cedar Point? DId they do the same thing when they built the replica of Maggie at Valley Fair? Just a thought after watching the woio news reel yesterday.

Intamatt, I don't think there are too many Bubba-Joes or Billy-Bobs around Ohio. They pretty much just stay here and keep the area populated. But it is a good job at illustrating the point I made in a different thread that thye really have to treat the GP like babies because of the stupid few.
