New ride confirmation on 9/4/05
This is my first post, but I have been reading all of the new ride talk for a couple of months now and took all of the information with me to Cedar Point on Labor Day weekend. I was in line for the Gemini and happened to meet a nameless employee in one of the Cedar Point Business Departments. I pressed this person with questions relating to all of the rumors of a new ride in 2006, and this person stopped short of saying it's true. The word is a new flying coaster in FrontierTown in 2006- and expect an announcement before the end of 2005. I asked also if there was going to be multiple additions (with the sale of Demon Drop), but I was told no. We'll see what happens!
I understand you're new, but I have some advice; Employees are not told anything more or less than we are, and they like the rumors and spreading ideas just as much. Just because someone says something doesn't make it true, sorry.
The rumor about a flier back there has been going around for a few years now but hearing it from someone in line doesn't make the rumor hold any more ground than if anyone Joe Schmo on the street said it.
