Thank you Cedar Point! It's been a while, but it was worth it. Wow.

That train seems to go on forever, especially from that angle! I knew it'd be long, but again, wow. The railings look great, so does the control booth. I was wondering what the booth would be like. The roof looks great too! That semi-transparent covering really looks great. I'm getting really excitied now.

Montu, your right, the trains seem to just keep going. They are going to have to have a lot of workers running this ride to check all the seats.
3 load and 3 unload oh my god you know it.

Wow, for some reason, I didn't realize the track in between the two towers was so loooooong... makes sense though. That side of the park is going to look SO different now. Like everyone else -- can't wait to test it out for myself!!

Man those pictures are awesome...Those seats on the train look so empty without anyone in them...I can't wait until I get to sit in them and pull that harness down...Actually seeing the real ride over that animation is much better...I'm so excited now...Cedar Point needs to hurry it up and open those gates... :)

This might have been said in another thread, but the launches on this thing are going to be LOUD, especially when you're on the train. Sound doesn't like to go through a concrete wall, you know :)

Wonder if that picture was taken near the front of the train? That is one long one.. I counted 15 rows in that image

only complaint...what is CP's obsession with concrete lately? Where is the landscaping? The last picture clearly shows a vast expanse of concrete and nothing else! A few shade trees would look good right there.
Well... I'm not saying that they will in fact get landscaping.. but if they did, it wouldn't get done until the very end once everything else was taken care of.

Long train? Doubt it. 2 Trains, Testing both to make sure they fit, one to run and the other as a back up? More than likly.

Two trains on a shuttle coaster??? No way. That's one train, and 16 rows of seats isn't unusually long for a coaster train.

If you took a photo from the same place in the last photo one year ago you'd see the same thing. There was nothing there but an unobstructed view of the lake through the fence.

Cp_Rider: Have you even looked at the specs for the ride or looked at the hundreds of photos around the Net for the other Impulses? Have you ever noticed that Millennium Force has 18 rows, using a very similar wheel and chassis arrangement?

That's exactly what I thought when I saw the picture of the train...LONG! Very cool, and stylish too. This update has some sweet pictures.

I think that having that concrete wall there is a good thing because if the wind would pick up and the sand would be dry...we could call the ride Sand Blaster...remember? Going 72mph with sand would not be fun, so this is definitely a good thing. Besides, how would they get the wiring to the launch if it wasn't arranged like this?

Oh wow, I hadn't thought of that... Sand in the eyes at 72 mph would HURT!!
