New Pictures @ CP.Com: Train, Station, and more!

The exit will be midway-side and point you out toward Giant Wheel. The queue will consist of three blocks more or less in the area of the former aquarium building. A path will lead outside of the rear tower and up a ramp that dumps you in the middle of the station.

And no, I can't share my photos. Sorry, maybe next year.

Another fun fact... there are only 20 sections of track.

How many pieces does MF consist of? (I know it will be plenty more than that :) )

Millennium Force consists of 229 sections of track.

Yet another fun fact... It took 175 truckloads of steel to get all the sections of track for Millennium Force to the Point.

I was the one who wanted to put my hand over the webcam! Or better yet call home and tell someone to look at the webcam pics and I'd wave!

oh wow, Jeff is special now. He got a site tour. almost anyone can go to the site. Its not like its top government info. I was out there the weekend before, so, who cares? Besides, its just a construction site, not a big deal.
No offense matt2003, but grow up a little. Unless you are being sarcastic, thats the most immature thing I have read in a while.

THANK YOU No Rules 2k for saying exactly what I was thinking You rock! :)
Crashoverride-I wouldn't wait on a tr from any of us lucky duckies that were on the WT tour. We sort of posted a tr in the Dave & Busters thread but as far as a full fledged tr, don't think you're going to see one, or I certainly would have been one of the 1st to start it! ;)

Why not, Jeff posted one of the site tour of Millennium Force. Is there a rule  that you can't post more than one TR??

To be perfectly honest, there's nothing that was seen or learned from that tour that can't been seen or learned right now on CP.com in the form of the webcam, pictures, or diary.  CP is doing a fine job of making this project as public as it can be without any of us actually being there, so any TR from any of the attendees would be a bit redundant.

I'm perfectly fine with a webcam and the CP pictures too.  Millennium Force was a bit different....

It's not a matter of being allowed... what's there really to tell? We toured the site of an unfinished Impulse. Other than to say that the location is cool and the supports look massive in comparison to the previous rides, there ain't much to tell.

Afterward, we got to crash one of the shops (converted picnic pavilions) where they had several Mean Streak cars (rebuilding and testing wheel assemblies), Blue Streak cars (replacing restraint locks with new PTC parts), Iron Dragon cars (NDT-ing wheel assemblies), a Wildcat car upside down and a few Tilt-a-Whirl tubs.

What are they doing to block of the rest of the beach?  Fencing I would assume.
Jeff's avatar
The Oceana end of the beach has the same fence it had, no fence that I saw at the other end. I suspect the ride travel area itself will be surrounded with a fence, hopefully the same black wire fence they've been using on everything (including Talon).
