I'm surprised to see that they used the old logo, and not the "swishy" M.. I think that would have looked better!

By popular vote, the official Millennium
has been moved to May 13, 2000!

Did they make a last minite change on them to paint them blue? Or was that they way they originaly designed them to be? On the facts sheet on the official site it says they are stainless steel, which I already know they are, but the artists drawings of them show that they are silver with no paint on them. I think they would have looked even better without any paint on them at all. They should have kept them the natural stainless steel color of silver.

Or, what would have been really cool is if they chromed them

Nice pics. I think the magnum cars edge those out slightly though. I love the wind shield on the magnum cars. However much better seating in these.
I don't think that trains had any type of change in the color of their bodies. If you look at the press release it says:

"A two-tone futuristic structure, blending a brilliant blue track with sleek silver framework and three trains displaying the primary colors of red, blue and yellow, will dominate the Cedar Point skyline."

So each train is probably a combination of stainless steel and one of the three colors mentioned above. As in, the pictures we are looking at are for the blue train.

Differences between Millennium Force's trains and those found on the other Intamin Mega Coaster installations (like the higher front nose, headrests and additional padding) have been noted over the last few weeks. All correct -- I should never doubt you people! But I'm not sure if this has been mentioned:

The front-row seats are separated! Why? On the other three Intamin hypers, the front seats are adjacent (i.e. the inside lateral support bar is shared) and the rear seats are spaced 5-10 inches apart. Not a big deal, but I kind of liked the offset seats on Superman Ride of Steel -- I consider them a major part of the "Stadium Seating" claim.

Another thing to add. Besides that these trains almost look identical to the Mantis trains, the blue they painted them will blend right in with the track. Another reason why they should have gone with the crome or silver.

1) Colors. Remember that other trains will be red and yellow.
2) Seats. I noticed that the official photos only show the right-hand side of the car. The 'earlier' photos showed the left-hand side of the car, which was the only location on the train where seat belt hardware had been installed. I notice that no such hardware is visible in the official photos...yet.
3) Seat spacing. Say, I didn't notice that...

i would have liked to see them chrome so they glimmered in the sunlight
