There are some new pics at Virtual Midway that are dated today. They really do a great job of showing how big this thing really is.

Amazing.

Power Tower looks so small next to that massive tower.

Oh, and the link... http://www.virtualmidway.com/mystery/default_p121402.asp

Wow. I know the ride will be fun, but does anybody else think that it's kinda ugly? Maybe I am just not used to seeing this big tower up in the sky yet.

It looks much better in person. No photos do it justice...not even those. It's meant to be highly visible. The yellow is much easier to see than a grey tower.

It is hazy the day that Virtual Midway took those pics. Last time I seen it in person on Monday 12/9, It looks really nice on a clear day.

When I was in Sandusky earlier today, I went out to the parking lot to see the new ride, and those pictures really don't do this thing justice. Just seeing that massive structure tower over millie, it's awesome. If anybody lives close, do yourself a favor and go see it for yourself, it's sweet.

Oh, lordy that thing is big. I showed the PT picture to my husband, and reminded him the tower to #16 is located further back where the dodgems used to be by Magnum. His eyes got big and he said "ooookay...this might be a problem...that thing looks WAY too big". Heee!

I have a question when you went up to cedar point did a gard stop you at the front enterence or did you go right by and did they just let you in the parking lot one other question if there was a gard there what do you tell them to get in?

I'm going there tommorow. If the pictures don't do it justice, I really can't wait to see this thing in person.

You will be stopped at the parking lot toll booths. They will not allow you into the parking lot.

If you want to get a great view of the entire peninsula, head over to Battery Park.

Is it just me, or does it look like you drop a long way before the twist. It will be interesting to see how it feels to twist going that fast. I was thinking it would start closer to the top.

Power tower and the new ride arnt that far apart. Which when they are put next to eachother like in the virtual midway picture. It looks like it's only about 50 feet higher than poer tower so about 370-380. Which is not 400 feet so can someone explain how it is 400 feet. Hopefully jeff can since it is finished he should be able to tell us how tal it is

wasnt it agreed on by most gttp-ers that there were 7 places for supports on the "weird piece" only 5 of them are being used right now. In the pics at virtual midway you can see two more, what are they going to be used for? the elevator?

Power Tower is much farther away from the new tower than you would think. That brake track is gonna be LOOONG.
