New Passholders (Again)

We used to be annual passholders that would go to CP 10+ times per summer. I used to post trip reports here all the time. The year we didn't renew was the year Steel Vengeance opened (bad timing, I know) and we haven't been to the Point since the year SV was being built. I just bought Gold Passes and am starting to get that excitement again. However, I'm a little anxious about WHAT HAS CHANGED(?) since we've last been there.

Any major policy changes I should be aware of?

Do I have to get a locker for our phones for every ride now?

Does my Gold Pass afford me early entry for the rest of THIS year?

Can I still park in the back by Soak City?

Is the Boardwalk still accessible to non-Breakers guests?

These are just some of the questions I have. Any assistance is appreciated and please feel free to include any other helpful tips I didn't address above.

Do I have to get a locker for our phones for every ride now? Only Steel Vengeance, but they have free ones in the queue.

Does my Gold Pass afford me early entry for the rest of THIS year? I believe so.

Can I still park in the back by Soak City? Yes

Is the Boardwalk still accessible to non-Breakers guests? Yes

If you're a smoker, no smoking at all in park, all smoking areas are gone.

I'm a smoker but I see no reason to be able to smoke in the park.

Good to know! My fiancee vapes and used to go to the designated smoking areas all the time. Thanks, Dennis.

All Cedar Fair parks are now cashless. There are kiosks to convert cast to pre-paid cards, or credit cards are accepted.

I recommend the All Day Dining Plan. It's a great value and the food has come a long way in a few short years.

I hear that the chicken tenders are especially scrumpdillyicious.
