New paint jobs

Raptor looks great with its new coat but I think some other rides could use the same treatment.

I've noticed that Magnum and Mantis are the most in need. Magnum needs it more. If they do paint it, the true color of it will be revealed. Is it orange or red?

Mantis is schecduled for next year.. with Blue Streak possibly getting a full paintjob.

Magnum is set for the 2003 season.. and Blue Streak will pick up the 2003 also if they decide not to hit it for 2002.

I think that BS should bt that deep blue again, like it was back in the 70's

I saw a pic of it, and the supports were a light blue and the handrail was a deep blue, really cool! Now thats the paint job, now what about the trains? HHMMM?!?!?!?

As far back as I can recall (mid-70's), the Blue Streak structure has always been light blue. Up until the early/mid 80's (when they unveiled the ultra cool logo of today), the structure was light blue and the track, handrails, and walkway was white, along with 2 blue trains with a white stripe (though at one time, there was a red train and blue train). When they unvelied the new logo, they changed the color of the track, handrail, and structure to dark blue with blue trains with 2 orange and white stripes, finally reducing the train to one orange and white stripe. Anyone recall further back?

There was a red train and a blue train on Blue Streak for a number of years after it opened. When they changed the graphic design on the trains they made them both blue.

I think Blue Streak should live up to it's name by being ENTIRELY blue...every last piece of track should be covered in cerulean paint!
