New MF daytime POV animation

Hey for all of you who wanted to see me make a POV animation of Millennium Force during the day, I have finally made it and it is now on my website..

http://icdweb.cc.purdue.edu/~mcveen/MFhome.htm

Unfortunately it is still a very large file, but I have tried to make it smaller, i just dont have the right tools to do so
As always nitrus - incredible work.

Glad to see you ironed out that last curve - thought we were going to jump off the track on the nighttime!!! *grin*

Seriously though - really enjoyed the avi. Thanks.
That was sweet!

AWESOME!

Great attention to detail. I noticed you changed a few things from your night POV.
Is it just me, but I can't find it on the site. It says last updated 3/24/99.
Excellent work, again...
Rad!!!The turns are alot better. The original POV squahed my face!!
Gee, I don't know... If it is suppose to be daytime why can't we see any of the other rides at the park? (LOL) The pov is outstanding. This will help cure the need for a coaster fix for a day or so.
EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can someone e-mail me it or give me a direct link to the download location? I really want to see this because his downloads are great!
WOW!!!!!! I love the POV from backseat. I can't take the waiting anymore!!!!!

Welcome back Millennium Force riders...We all want to know how was your RIDE!!!!!
Unbelieveable! You should do this for some companies and you could really make lots of $$!

I think I speak for everyone when I say that the people on this board really appreciate the time you take out of your own day to make these videos for people you don't even know. Also, on a personal note, I think that those videos you make are OFF THE HOOK!!! They make the wait until May 7 (yes, May 7, I got AAA ticks) go so much faster. Once again, thanks for your time to make others feel like they are a part of the action at Cedar Point.

Thank you for riding Raptor and enjoy your day here at Cedar Point, America's RollerCoast!
Well its finaly up and Bad Nitrus I you are the man!
that was great!! i loved it!
just one thing to make it better would be a little sound. (Just a sugestion) Thanks for sharing it with us!
That was a great POV. Better than all before it.

hahah i am not going to even begin to think about adding sound... i could... but...... no! plus, let us all pretend the ride is smooth as glass and makes no noise... and pretend there is no wind... yeah...
Old Timer Tim - i would have added magnum and gemini and even the whole soak city area but you would not believe how incredibly huge the file is, there is so much geometry that would have gone overboard!
CobraRoll39 - Thanks man, i enjoy making them... and no doubt i will keep doing this for coasters coming out in the future since it is such an enourmous hit.. i like making them anyway so why not?!
Hey..I was wondering how long it took you to get that proficient in 3DSMax. I became quite a Photoshop guru on my own time (I've done some professional work), and I feel I could do the same with 3DS, so I'm curious. I'd love to create stuff like that, is it that hard?

Jman
hey badnitris i was wondering the tunnles on the pov that you made are the real mf tunnles gonna be like that (sort of like a cave) or did you just put them in like that? personally I think the cave tunnles look pretty awsome.
Jman-not hard at all... you just have to use it for a while, get used to it, just like any program i guess.... i only had a month or two's experience on the program before i made my Y2K:the ride
