While watching the Indians game tonight, 7/23/07, I saw a new Maverick commercial that uses actual footage. Another thing that I found interesting is that there is clearly footage of riders with their "arms up", and not in the Cedar Fair-esque down position. Also, saw some discount coupon posters at my local Taco Bell, and riders on Maverick also had their arms up while the picture of MF had the riders holding on. Anybody else see this commercial yet? Has CF changed their "hold on" policy?

^^ - no. You must keep you arms inside the train at all times, extending them upwards puts them outside the train, and IF you were to hit your hand on something and injure yourself, the park would not be liable (see the Ohio Revised Code posted at each ride).
This is rarely enforced, and since the coasters are all run with the template to ensure clearance around the train you'd be find unless you had orangutan arms.
