New look for website

I liked CP's web site design 5 years ago when Magnum was the background picture.

Oh, look! Slashdot is load testing the brand new site for the CP folks. How nice of them!

I miss the animated banner, but the rest looks nice.

I think the new banner is cool, I mean it shows Magnum and stuff! Obviously more realistic, though the animation was fun to watch. Good update overall.

I like the new webpage. It's the first I've seen of it since I'm so busy at Kent State these days. I like how you can just jump to another page really quickly. The one page they should change is the Millennium Force page, because it looks like the same page they used when it was first annouced. They should make it look like the other pages like Magnums, and have the links on the side so you can still see the other stuff.

I wish they had the construction photos for MF like they do for WT. Its fun looking back and seeing the photos from Fall of 2001 when they first started construction.

Construction for MF started in Fall 1999.

I was refering to the ones from WT that I can actually get to via the CP website.

We have a lot of construction photos for Millennium Force, Wicked Twister, and, of course, Dragster.

Yeah I know, and they're all great, its just fun to go back to the "official" pictures and see what they had during the construction. I think what makes it interesting is to look at the dates and say "wow, they had that much done in November!!"

Don't get me wrong Walt, I love your photography and greatly enjoy the work you've done. I always look forward to the new "photo specials" that you put together. Also, when might we be able to see the "Midway Vision" pictures come back? I always enjoyed those oversize panoramic views of the park.

Actually, a lot of those construction pictures are Jeff's. I have some MidwayVision stuff shot that I need to put together and I plan to do some more before the end of the year.

Cool, either way, whoever has done the photog work its been enjoyable. I've been waiting to see the "Coming this Fall" replaced with MidwayVision pics for the Halloweekends links.

Keep up the work guys, it is very much appreciated.

By the way, (I don't know if this has been posted here yet), the Castaway Bay construction gallery has been updated.

There needs to be something more in the Millennium Force page. Maybe they should make re-design it like Top Thrill Dragsters page. Instead of having that sketch drawing at the bottom of the page, they should have a good picture of Millennium Force train going down the hill and on the side you would have the links. I think that would look better.

Does anyone know if you can still access the "Come On, Get On" promo on the updated CP website?

I think it still works. The last I checked was sometime last month. Nobody has responded to my idea on the last post. I want your opinions yall.

Thats cool, they updated the main pictures. There are some awesome shots in there.
