New lights?

I visited Cedar Point (World's Best Park) in late May on a rainy day when the Dragster was not working. When i went last week i noticed the 'christmas tree' light on the hill. i didn't notice them in late May and was wondering if they were a new addition.

They have been planned since the beginning of construction but the lights arrived a few months late, therefore you did not see them in May.
