New Information On Project 2007

I was at CP over the last 5 days and got into a conversation with a park employee and that person told me a lot more than they should have. To protect the identity of the park employee i will not be posting any names, location, or time of converstation. Here is some of the info that i was given. and then some pics i took and a short video if everything works like it should.

B&M and Intamin are working together to come up with the ride safety. I dont know if that is harnesses or like braking systems.

It is not going to be an AquaTrax.

It will be breaking 3 world records. Inversions, I was told between 10 and 12, Track length, no exact numbers were given for that record. Total Airtime, i was told that the total airtime of the ride will break the record.

The construction is scheduled to be done between the middle and end of October.

I know its not much information but i figured it might shed some light on the subject.

here are some pics i took, and a video.

Probably longer than it would have taken to read a few threads to get up to speed on the situation.

Didnt we hear this all before? If it is going to break a length record I hardly belive it will be completed in October. There is clearly not enough track, supports and footers. I also find it hard to believe that CP Management would let any more information slip. Then again CP does like to play head games. Now I'm wondering

Well first off, it wouldn't be unlike an employee to give false information. Not because "CP" likes to play headgames, but because the employees get tired of hearing the same question over and over, so they make up their own creative answer.

Secondly, any employee willing to divulge actual information doesn't deserve to keep their job any longer.

Goodbye MrScott

It's kind of hard to follow the threads when everyone within the threads has a tendency to get off track.

I was also at the park recently and got into conversation with an employee. They said that it will be aimed at families, and they are NOT trying to break any world records. All I will say about the employee is that they are high up in their department. I also heard the fact about aiming it at families from an employee in a different department.

No kidding. Sometimes it's off track right from the first post!
