New GL coaster layouts/diagrams?
Have they released the layouts yet? If so, do they look like other Premier rides? (A la Medusa, Mr. Freeze and Roar?)
Well, Sean Flaharty has a page up with a couple of artist renderings. One is for Villain, witch is strikingly close to GhostRider (guess if this Boardwalk addition rumore comes to life, they'll have to get a different design for their rumored woodie. Rumors!). Also, it has Superman Ultimate Escape on there. None of the three major coasters are clones. They are all *custom* layouts (gasp! Premier? Custom? Looks like a lot of people were wrong about Premier, eh?). Each and every single new coaster looks to be a winner. I think BKF will only have 5 inversions, but not positive. Dan, you were there, weren't you? Any idea how many inversions it'll have? Anyway, Villain, the CCI woodie, will have 12 drops and 14 turns. The other coaster, the SUE, is an Intamin Impulse coaster, similar to Linear Gale in Japan. This one will have a twist, though, literally. On one end of the tower, the train will execute a vertical heartline. Sounds amazing to me!
