New Forums

I was wondering if it would be possible to have a Cedar Fair forum (similar to the one for Geauga Lake) where people can ask about and discuss all the CF parks. It would also make a good place for people to share info regarding news at these other parks that are part of the Cedar Point family.

Seems like most of those topics would fit better over at coasterbuzz.

I would probably agree with that. CoasterBuzz already covers the world-at-large, so I don't seem much reason to duplicate that.

Not to mention the Geauga Lake forum is pretty quiet these days.

On the topic of new forums, how about one specifically for the abundance of new members who find it fun to start new threads about whatever happens to instantaneously cross their minds. Then they can all shout about things like, for example, how they're all pissed off about TTD's ranking in a poll. *** Edited 6/13/2004 3:43:06 AM UTC by mantis_man***

We're trying hard to keep that junk out of control. But it's hard when the kiddies are out of school and the moderators are outside doing summer things away from the computer.

Really it's been more of the people like fastcar01. And also a ton of posts that get deleted before most people see them that you don't even know about.
On the subject of New Forums: What are your thoughts on a Forum for Soak City? I'm sure you've given it some study, Jeff and Walt. I would find it of interest, but I wonder if there would be enough general interest here to support such a Forum.
In the future probably a forum for Castaway Bay as well.

Maybe they could just join them and say waterparks.

Again, the Soak City forum might turn out like the Geauga Lake forum....quiet.

A waterpark forum would be a cool idea. Wicked Twister forum is quiet too but there's still discusion.

I don't think that there would be much interest in a Soak City forum. Now that I think about it, do we really need a Wicked Twister forum anymore? *** Edited 6/22/2004 7:26:29 PM UTC by DragonRider***
