New Employee

I'm starting GL on Wednesday.. well, I have orientation, but I quit CP and am working at GL now.. anything that I should know about working there? I'm quit nervous heh

I didn't like where I was working at CP.. plus I wanted to transfer, but they were so overstaffed there. Another things, GL is closer to home for me.

I don't think you gave CP enough time. "Over-staffed" becomes "barely adequate" when the park hours start to go later, as they recently did.

Maybe I didn't, but I wanted to work closer to home.

EDIT: I was not sure if I should write this, but I don't think it will hurt. From the number of hours I am scheduled to work, compared to what I have heard schedules are like at the Point, we could use the extra people. Open to Close most of the week is not going to be fun, especially not living at the park. :(

heh why do I have to be on the Steel Venom? I was just on that ride on Friday.. and of course, it broke down while I was in line. I love that ride, especially when the brakes stop you :) the best part. I'm actually working on Raging Wolfbobs, and my orientation is tomorrow.

I went from 60 hours one week.. to 25-35 hours the next couple of weeks after that. I need more hours... and I knew GL needed extra people, and it was a lot closer to home, so why not work at a place like GL :)

The only disadvantage is, would be the driving for me.. its about a 40 minute drive to and from GL to where I live... and at first, I know those OC's are going to kill me, but I'm sure this summer will be a lot of fun :) I just hope to make a lot of new friends heh I'm a tad bit shy.
