New DJ for the queues...

I went up to the point on Sat. and noticed that the line had a new DJ from last year. Not that the DJ can help this, but all the music he played was leftover from last year sans a few poor exceptions. Any heavy MF riders from last year (like me) are probably tired of hearing the same Santana/Creed/N'Sync cycle, especially on days when a person may want to spend his/her time waiting awhile in the lines for a few night rides. Does this bug anyone else? Not that I mind the aforementioned artists in the least bit, but if they are all I hear except for a rotten reggae remix of "Girls just wanna have fun", well, let's just say it defeats the purpose of having a DJ, which should be to make the line less monotonous.

The DJ in the MF lines plays bon-jovi and stuff. but he seems to be a cool guy.it isnt his fault he has 4 cd's to work with:)

No, that was Joe from last year.

Give them some time! I remember last year was the same way. They started with very little to play but kept adding more as time passed.

And they don't even have 4 cd's.. the DJ's at CP use Mini-Disc ;)

Joe (last year's DJ) is supposed to be back this year but I don't believe it's as a DJ. He was the anti-backstreetnsynchbrittney DJ you refered to..

One time last year joe played Nirvana -smells like teen spirit, and Mettalica -I disapeer...that was pretty cool, then right after it he went back to the usuall..."pop" music.

Yeah, they were using minidiscs last year.

It's about time they update something.cd's to mini discs/bad music to good music is on the way!

I'm all for Nirvana.

I am all about variety. I don't mind anything they play, but not if it is played ad nauseum. I heard Creed's higher three times over three waits in line. I don't mind the song, but once was plenty.

They usually tend to add some new stuff farther into the season.

It can never get as bad as Mantis' music videos. Same thing for how long now? To bad the couldn't play VH1's 100 greatest videos in that queue.
