New Desktop Wallpaper

I would just like to point out that there is a new wallpaper picture up at cedarpoint.com. In addition to the POV illustration and the aerial illustration, the computer-designed composite picture is now up. It definetely gets the place on my desktop!

Cool. I put the POV wallpaper on my PC at home...the pink matches the walls in my South Beach Tacky basement.

I'll put the composite one on my work PC in a couple months. For now I'm enjoying a snowy Gemini, thanks to Walt. Seems more appropriate in Winter.

Even looking at it up close, it's still hard to tell that it's a computer-rendered photo.

It is a very good and realistic looking computer-rendering. A few things I noticed that don't make it perfect: the catwalks are missing from the tower; the supports at the bottom of the tower supporting the track aren't correct; the brake run doesn't change to flat track.

Thanks for the link. I have had that photo as my wallpaper since the day of the announcement. However, the picture clarity was not very good.Much better now. Thanks again!

pagoona, another thing is that the track is really red enough.

I agree with you, OldCPer. Snowy Gemini is on my desktop until winter is over. Props to Walt for putting that on his site.

what snowy picture of gemini would that be? I do not think i have seen that one, could anyone post a link?

Thanks for the link Bryan. I took that pic and the artist rendering (half screen each) and made one pic for my desktop - it has been a real attention getter. The artist rendering shows the station, all the details of Dragster, and Dragsters relationship to MF, while the VM wallpaper shows MF and the Drgaster tower.
