New Commerical

I just saw a new Cedar Point commerical. A dad asks his son what he wants to do first, and lists off a bunch of rides including TTD, Millennium Force, Iron dragon (not what I would feature in a commerical), Power Tower, then looks up at Dragster's tower and says something like "woah"

Has anyone else seen this new commerical yet?

What channel did you guys see it on, i'm guessing one of the major networks?

I didn't like this commercial at all. Mostly because there wasn't any music. There were very few shots of Dragster. There is also another commercial that I saw today but I didn't pay much attention to it at first because I had to idea it was a CP commercial. It had the same guy as in the other commercial, but he was falling in love with the sight of TTD.

The last commercial I saw, there were no shots of TTD at all. Probaly because it isn't working half the time and they don't want alot of people comming in and just yelling at them when they get to the entrance of it. I'd imagine they'd air it more in Ohio than Indiana. That's probaly why I haven't seen it. :(

I really have never liked Cedar Point commercials. Cheesy music, cheesy acting, oh did I mention cheesy music? As Jeff says, "I can't write a song or make a movie, but that doesn't mean I can't dislike a song or movie". Not all of their advertisements are bad: I did like the one billboard that was like"we have the tallest roller coaster and a beagle on ice skates". I only want some humor like that in CP commericals, is that so much to ask?

I saw one today that I haven't seen before but TTD was the only coaster featured...I dont know if its new or not

I saw that commercial yesterday morning, and i thought they shouldn't have made the dad acting all goofy like he was trying to be a Ronald McDonald. But it did have a really awsome clip of millennium force and it looked really big as compared to most shots of it.

The commercials are not on Virtual Midway, and most likely never be. The only sites that could legally post the commercials are Cedar Point or the production company's websites.

I have seen all of the new ones, guessing that dragster is open for the rest of the year on a daily basis now, cp decided to really start pushing the advertisement...

about the commercials... i think they are just stupid, especially the one of the guy who falls in love with dragster... although some people may think they are cool, i think they are both just plain corny... Cp's old commericials like the "go full force" advertisements that ran a year or so back are cool, with the music, and basically just telling people what cedar point has to offfer...

the new ones, especially the one that says iron dragon... i agree with lieblivision, i would not advertise this ride unless i say like "and for the kids... iron dragon" but if i was marketing manager for cp i would advertise: TTD (depeneding on operating condition) Millenium Force, Wicked Twister, Magnum, Raptor, and Mean Streak, maybe like mention a water ride other than thunder canyon (bleh) snake river falls is awesome and you get totally soaked, so i would advertise that, mantis too... mainly the big steel monsters you see on the skyline... the "Staple" rides...

Ive seen it on Comedy Central, USA, TNN, and MTV I think...

They have another one out, atleast it is new in Michigan. A camera guy is on one of the gang ways and tracks the train as it goes down the drop. It was the best on I have seen.
