Here's what's newly-added to the passes for 2025, via the link above:
However, your 2025 Cedar Point Gold or Prestige Pass with the All Park Passport add-on will be valid for parking & entry at all legacy Six Flags parks starting January 6th, 2025, including:

Six Flags Great America (Gurnee, IL)

And More! Please note that 2025 Cedar Point All Park Passport Season Pass add-ons, including All-Season Dining, All-Season Drink Bottle, Fast Lane and others will only be valid at legacy Cedar Fair parks for the entire 2025 season. Add-ons purchased with a legacy Six Flags park Season Pass will only be valid at legacy Six Flags parks for the entire 2025 season. Parking and admission are included at all parks with the All Park Passport. Information on specific in-park discounts and benefits will be available at a later date.

The add on options not being included is a little strange, maybe it's so they can keep the passes at as much of a bargain as possible, while being able to generate more revenue through legacy park add ons. I wonder how that will work for those that want meal and or drink plans at both park chains pass wise.
I'll visit a few legacy Six Flags parks next year, but I highly doubt I'll purchase any add ons.
I don't think it's strange at all. Predictable fumble.
Weird language. "However"....and then "And More!" are oddly placed.
The "And More" is followed by limitations (here is what you don't get), while the "however" is followed by what you get in addition (here is what you do get).
You're either a streamlined team or you're not.
Apparently they're not.
Promoter of fog.
However, the passport gets a few travelling people into the park and then when they gotta eat, they gotta pay. Just my opinion but I doubt that the lack of the drink & meal plans not being honored across the other parks in 2025 will discourage those travelers from travelin'. From CP area your talking about several day cross-country trips to those locations. The exception being Gurnee,IL which is the nearest one and I believe recommended by our Mr. Dvo here.
If we can swing it, we likely will purchase the passport just in case we happen across an area next year. Can always use it for some KI visits. And more!
^"Recommended" is a strong term, but in terms of legacy SF parks, Great America ain't too bad. I tell people they have a lot of very good rides, but none that really stand out as marquis attractions. And IMO the park lacks the charm that most legacy Cedar Fair parks deliver, Cedar Point included.
I agree that it's unfortunate that the dining plans won't be honored at other parks, though to be fair I do enjoy the single-day dining plans when I'm traveling. The single day plans open the door for you to try more of the park's culinary fare as you can get more than just two meals.

The add on options not being included is a little strange...
I can speculate, with a high degree of confidence, that this is an IT thing. The former two companies do not use the same systems, and getting them to talk entitlements (the stuff you get beyond the ticket) may be non-trivial and hard to pull off before next year.

This link says dining, season long FastLane and drink addons are good for 2024 and 2025.

Thought I saw that the addons are not good at other parks. Just at home park. But you get admission to those other parks with the all park addon.
That's correct, as far as I can remember as well. Pass immediately, add-ons the following season.
