New Combo pass being sold through Schlitterbahn

Buying the all parks passport and add-ons through Schlitterbahn, now, gets you legacy CF Parks plus the add-ons, good until the end of the year. Starting in January, those passes will give you access to Legacy 6 Flags parks, but it does not show the add-ons will work in the Legacy 6 Flags parks.

Here’s the info from Cedar Point regarding 2025.

Here's what's newly-added to the passes for 2025, via the link above:

However, your 2025 Cedar Point Gold or Prestige Pass with the All Park Passport add-on will be valid for parking & entry at all legacy Six Flags parks starting January 6th, 2025, including:

Six Flags Magic Mountain (Valencia, CA)
Six Flags Great Adventure (Jackson, NJ)
Six Flags Great America (Gurnee, IL)
Six Flags Over Texas (Arlington, TX)
Six Flags Fiesta Texas (San Antonio, TX)
Six Flags Over Georgia (Austell, GA)
And More!

Please note that 2025 Cedar Point All Park Passport Season Pass add-ons, including All-Season Dining, All-Season Drink Bottle, Fast Lane and others will only be valid at legacy Cedar Fair parks for the entire 2025 season. Add-ons purchased with a legacy Six Flags park Season Pass will only be valid at legacy Six Flags parks for the entire 2025 season. Parking and admission are included at all parks with the All Park Passport. Information on specific in-park discounts and benefits will be available at a later date.

The add on options not being included is a little strange, maybe it's so they can keep the passes at as much of a bargain as possible, while being able to generate more revenue through legacy park add ons. I wonder how that will work for those that want meal and or drink plans at both park chains pass wise.

I'll visit a few legacy Six Flags parks next year, but I highly doubt I'll purchase any add ons.

I don't think it's strange at all. Predictable fumble.

Weird language. "However"....and then "And More!" are oddly placed.

The "And More" is followed by limitations (here is what you don't get), while the "however" is followed by what you get in addition (here is what you do get).

You're either a streamlined team or you're not.

Apparently they're not.

However, the passport gets a few travelling people into the park and then when they gotta eat, they gotta pay. Just my opinion but I doubt that the lack of the drink & meal plans not being honored across the other parks in 2025 will discourage those travelers from travelin'. From CP area your talking about several day cross-country trips to those locations. The exception being Gurnee,IL which is the nearest one and I believe recommended by our Mr. Dvo here.

If we can swing it, we likely will purchase the passport just in case we happen across an area next year. Can always use it for some KI visits. And more!

^"Recommended" is a strong term, but in terms of legacy SF parks, Great America ain't too bad. I tell people they have a lot of very good rides, but none that really stand out as marquis attractions. And IMO the park lacks the charm that most legacy Cedar Fair parks deliver, Cedar Point included.

I agree that it's unfortunate that the dining plans won't be honored at other parks, though to be fair I do enjoy the single-day dining plans when I'm traveling. The single day plans open the door for you to try more of the park's culinary fare as you can get more than just two meals.

I can speculate, with a high degree of confidence, that this is an IT thing. The former two companies do not use the same systems, and getting them to talk entitlements (the stuff you get beyond the ticket) may be non-trivial and hard to pull off before next year.

Im excited just for the pass option I don’t need the food or drink option the first year. I haven’t been to any of these six flags parks so I’ll just bring my botte of water and check them out. Big 2025 coming.

Pricing is out on the Cedar Point Website. $85.00 for the Gold Pass Add-On, $99.00 for the Prestige Pass Add-On.

Probably a dumb question - if I buy my 2025 CP Gold Pass now, when can I start using it to get in the park?

New 2025 passes are good for admission to the park this season as soon as they are purchased. However, the extras such as drink, food and fastlane options will not be active until 2025.

Does it say that anywhere? I didn’t see it. They usually push access for the current year for a pass for next season.

This link says dining, season long FastLane and drink addons are good for 2024 and 2025.

https://www.cedarpoint.com/season-passes

Thought I saw that the addons are not good at other parks. Just at home park. But you get admission to those other parks with the all park addon.

Wow, yes it does. This is a change from the past as last season I did not have any add-ons and the ones I purchase for this year were not active until Jan. 1st. That is a heck of a deal to get the remainder of this season as well as all of next year.

There are plenty of folks that, for a while now, only get a pass every other year but still are able to get plenty of visits each year. They just know that every other year they won't get their first visit until early August.

I noticed that TT2 is not listed on the Season Pass Fast Lane Plus ride list. I hope that's just an oversight of copying the current list and it'll be open and included next year.

^^ The passes themselves were always good for the remainder of the current season, it is the add-ons that changed. This is the first year I can recall that the add-ons, including the All Season Fast Lane would be active for the current season as well as the next one.

That's correct, as far as I can remember as well. Pass immediately, add-ons the following season.

In know that current season admission is typical but when in was first looking I didn’t see it in writing…and they usually put that front and center. I see it written now and plan to purchase soon.
