Not sure how long this has been the case, but Cedar Point has a new site: https://www.sixflags.com/cedarpoint

I suppose it looks better on a phone or some other "portrait" oriented device, but for me, the entire main part of the page is literally just the sky of the picture of TT2 and absolutely nothing useful. You have to scroll down to get to any actual content. I miss the days when skydivingjeff did the website. :)

Brandon, it launched Monday I believe. I guess they were waiting until after the season ended for some reason.
Vince, Tony is still around but I believe he's in charge of communication regionally now and not just CP. I noticed that the blog seems mixed now between parks. That's a downgrade in my opinion. If I'm on CP's site, why would I want blog posts from other parks mixed in? Silly.
ETA: OK I take that back, now it seems like Onpoint Blog has nothing.

Dvo, Travis Kelce doesn’t own the company. He is simply just investing in the stock martket part of it. He doesn’t get to make decisions since he’s not on the board of directors.

I'm pretty sure Dvo knows that and was making a funny.

From what I've been hearing, I think a similar thing will happen with the apps. Legacy Cedar Fair parks have their own apps, while Six Flags has a single app that covers all legacy Six Flags parks.
All the Cedar Fair apps will go away, and everything will be included in a united, modernized version of the Six Flags app. I'm just not sure when the combined app will launch.
My guess is early January. I think the app transition won't take place before then because it would create confusion for customers in the parks holding Holiday in the Park or Winterfest.
Unofficial Rule of Ride Removals
You must announce removals in advance so people can get their last rides in, unless a major incident or malfunction prevents the ride from doing so.
This applies to roller coasters, flat rides, water rides, and so on.
Exceptions to this rule include upcharge attractions, waterpark rides, and rides that are effectively redundant within a park.
