I'm not sure I see the point in the changes. It's just different, not really better or worse. I wouldn't have spent money on it.

I agree with Jeff the changes don't look to make anything better. But it does have a huge promotion of their facebook and I kinda like the new events scroll on the bottom. They also changed the heading pictures on each page, from less rides to more families and people.

My guess is that there are two things driving this--
1) The aforementioned Facebook and Twitter integration
2) It appears that the mobile site is gone. I'll bet the new site looks better on a mobile browser.

They could have at least left up the existing posts in an archive somewhere. There was some cool info and behind the scenes stuff posted on the blog during its lifetime.
