New Cedar Point Sign

yes just right before you turn on to the causeway you will see it

I took a dry run to cedar point going route 2 today because I have never taken it before and I wanted to see how easy/difficult it was. It turned out to be very easy. Thanks OldCPer for you help. Anyways, I didn't go to the park so I turned right instead of left while getting off of route 6 and I saw the sign. It looks pretty good. If you're coming from 250 and heading to the point, you definatly won't miss the sign. They were doing more work around the sign today, but it looks good just the same.

Today as I drove by the sign (about 5 million times...;)) they were doing more to it. I do hope that it will be lit on the inside, I wish it were higher off of the ground, it seems too low. I also agree that there should be a sign coming from the other side of route 6, but a lot of people might hop onto the Chaussee so they don't really come in from the other side. Oh well, it's cute! I wish we still had Snoopy on our name tags this year... :(

It appears they added spotlights, landscaping and 6 cylindar columns that are dark blue, light blue dark blue light blue dark blue red dark blue (I think that was the right order) from bottom to top. added some shrubs and flowers around it and lit it up for at night. I was going to stop for a picture, but I wanted to get to the park so bad ;)

It is lit by spotlights. I think that this type of sign looks better than a sign with lights on the inside anyway. It looks very nice.:)

haha, i kno right where that is, we stayed at the hotel by there, i forgot the name, but we ate a fridays, familiar sites, very cool, sorry off topic,i like the sign, but i dont like the whole post's behind it thing IMO

Is there really going to be something between the 7 columns? I think the sign looks fine without anything there. If there is I would have to guess it will be the drawing of the skyline they have (The one they have on the front of the Cedar Point-Opoly). I think that would look good there.

They are going to impail Superman and Batman and various WB characters on the Columns! lol

My guess is that there will be Peanuts characters on top of each of the columns. That's just a guess though. Ohh.. I know, we can turn this into another guessing game like the one(s) that happened for TTD. ;)

I am so glad they added the sign. Even after working there for about a week, I would still get confused and pass the causeway. I am a simple boy. ;) The sign really helps. I totally missed the causeway when I was going to process in. . .and I got to that little airport before I realized that I must have passed it. So yes the sign is a very nice thing.

who goes thru the causeway? seriously take the back way into cedar point! its faster, and the line waiting for parking ticket is shorter
