Hmmmm, they seem to love Mean Streak. Or maybe they are trying to get pictures of it this winter because it won't be around next winter. :)

As for Peanuts Playground... I for one like Planet Snoopy, as long as they make is modern with nice features and not just throw rides in there and call it done. And, did you notice the ALL CAPS on PEANUTS in the blog entry, looks like T&T are getting emails about why Cedar Point is distroying Camp Snoopy. Or maybe it's a clue. ;)

Yeah I agree.. Camp Snoopy and Planet Snoopy, I can not begin to think of how many people are going to get these two places mixed up if its named that. It will be just as bad as finding... Magnum Force.

^I tried looking for the reasoning, but got nothing. Just is, you'll have to ask the creator who unfortunately isn't around anymore.

Huh what did i say? So what if i get bored! They updated it twice a week for a while and then it got to be about 3 or 4 times a month.

Gomes, What are you talking about? All Force00 said was that he wishes they would update their blog more often. I don't see anything thats wrong with that statement. just to name a few, which filled almost the whole month of November. But again, I can't argue about it because they are doing it on their own time. They don't get paid for it. We should be happy we have a blog at all.

Yes you do have to buy some blogs. But all I was getting at was that they don't have to do this for us so we have no room to complain about it. But I do wish they still updated like they used to :(

It slows down every off-season. This isn't anything new, and there isn't anything new to see at the park. They've shown quite a few pictures of the torn down rides already this off-season (not that they are much different from the pictures of torn down rides that were shown in past off seasons). The temporary workshop thats set up in the picnic pavilions looks the same now as it did last time the T's did a post on it, and it'll look the same next year too.

There just isn't that much interesting going on at the park during the off-season.

Oh come on, there are a few different interesting things that happen at the park during the off season.

One year we got a new copier. That would have made for a nice picture.

There was the year one of the wild turkeys jumped on the hood of my car. Of course, they are long gone.

The F.T. holiday party can get pretty crazy. I think Dick wore a snowman tie one year.

Honestly, if I were the park, I would do a "goodbye" blog in November and a "welcome back" blog in April. That's it.

OK, I can accept that, but how about this? Instead of shutting the blog down in the winter, they could compromise and do an occasional off-season entry. That way, they don't have to force content, and the fans still get a periodic dose of fun.

You're bored, there's so much to be said about that. Get outside, search google, read other blogs, there's so much more to life than OnPoint! blog. I'm don't want to come across as mean, but you have to be more appreciative for you got already.

Yes I would have to agree with you their, but when I say they don't update like they used to i'm not talking about the winter, i'm talking about over the summer too. I can't blame them for cutting down on the blog though. Just like every winter is the same with a few changes, every summer is the same with a few changes. You guy's can't complain about this though! I need a smiley with it's head banging against a wall. :(

But how much really changes from summer to summer? There's new rides, but that only gets you extra posts in May and maybe June.

And even more-so since this is a PR blog (as opposed to a fan blog) there isn't a whole lot to talk about. They aren't going to blog about over-priced food or un-enforced smoking policies. So the criticism posts are out the window as possible topics. I wish there were more for them to cover, but there really isn't.

^ thats because they went through everything in the first year. They did all that behind the scenes stuff and told people things they didn't know and now we finally are up to date, and instead of them picking things to post about they have to wait for things to happen.

They could do more stuff with the rides. I know its winter right now but in the summer they could. Like whatever happened to them learning how to opperate Skyhawk last year? They could show Raptors controls and do more trivia like the DT trivia game. And when was the last time we had a online givaway contest? Heck I wouldnt mind seeing what they personaly do. They could show their office and what they do every day.
