If I read one more post about how CP is going to build a coaster in Lake Erie ______________ you fill in the blank. Stop guys, just stop it. It's not going to happen. Lake Erie would destroy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cant CP drain the lake? or at least heat the water? (sarcasm)

They might as well drain it (Lake Erie). That lake is polluted and near dead.

C'mon Chitown, you must be joking. Lake Erie is thriving with fish, it's also clean, especialy in the Western Basin where CP is. Let's not have anymore bad Lake Erie jokes, the lake is a jewel and doesn't deserve to be bashed.

I understood at the original post. I just can't believe it continued that far...

I like the idea of having a new S&S Thrust Air in the park-I saw the ride on a couple different coaster shows that I have seen this year. I just think it's neat how S&S can get a coaster car to go from 0-80 mph in under 2 seconds with compressed air. Forget LIM, compressed air rules and CP should get one that he was talking about-break 100 mph and go up 350 ft. *** This post was edited by MFistheBEST on 6/9/2000. ***

there is a new one to be done by july that goes 0-200 mph in under 3 seconds, it is a long out and back into and under lake erie then does a rather large helix around the city of cleveland!! hehe :) but they have to scrap millennium force to get it to fit :(

Chitown... man are you far off. The sheer volume of midges this year indicate just how healthy Lake Erie is.

There is no pipe underwater, the lake would destroy it. There's supposed to be signs indicating when you should hold your breath as you submerge.
