Need some info..

I am new to this forum so I have some questions....

What are AIM's and trims in regard to roller coasters?

Me and my 9 yr old daughter are 1st time combo season pass holders (from the Buffalo, NY area) and we're hoping to visit next Sunday.

If we want to go to the park and Soak City the same day, do we have to get the bracelets at the gate, or do we just show our passes at both places?

Trims are brakes in the middle of the ride that slow down a coaster. They have two purposes: one is to slow the train down to make the ride a bit less intense and another purpose is to add a few seconds on to the ride time so that the crews working the ride can consistantly hit interval with three trains. On thing you'll probably notice about CP is that although the lines can be large, they move very quickly due to most rides being able to run three trains and hit interval. Don't know if you've been to the other park around here (coughDarienLakecaugh), but that's something they have many problems with there. I go to school in Rochester by the way.

I honestly have no clue what you mean by AIMs. The only AIMs I know are the toothpaste and also AIM can stand for AOL Instant Messenger which some people here talk on, but it has nothing to do with coasters.

Fear the Mullet!

If you meant LIM's instead of AIM's then you are talking about Wicked Twister, the new coaster this year. It uses LIM's or Linear Induction Motors to shoot the train off during the ride.
