Ok I am trying to settle a debate over white water landing my friend who was a ride op on Maverick in 07 she swears up an down that white water landing boats came into the station on the side that is now chick fil a and that the departed on the side facing mavericks metal line area near happy friar. I have explained that it was the opposite way an neither she nor I will back down. Can someone please clarify

It wouldn't be very Negligent of me to spell my name correctly.

The turntable moved clockwise, so it exited on the chic fil a side.

When you visit CP, visit my Mill, est. 1835

You are correct. Entry on the queue side. Departure on the Chic side.

Yes, it did move clockwise. I could have sworn the opposite also. But, if you Google White Water Landing Cedar Point and click on photos, there are some that prove it. I too am surprised I was wrong about it.

Yes I actually ran into a PointBuzz member about 17 seconds after posting this from my phone. Its amazing how only a few years have past but people get massive details wrong. I appreciate your input. Thank you all. I dont think I am going to make closing this year as my casino has a major upcoming project but I may be interested in this years off season events. Once again thank you and wish you all the best!

It's a little confusing because they turned part of the channel into a fountain, and now the water flows backwards, coming out where it used to go in.

There is a highly detailed model of White Water Landing in theTown Hall Museum. Looking at it, you can clearly see where the lifts are relative to the loading platform, which defines direction of travel.

Neglegence: Nice meeting you last night!

Was it 17 or 45 seconds? ;)

Well, with only two trains running, Magnum's interval is about 112 seconds.....

(3-train interval is 75 seconds)
