need info on soak city

Can anyone give me info on the rides and food at Soak City? Is it super crowded or do people just come in, cool off and head back to CP? Also, how much are the tube and locker rentals? Thanks!

Soak City is great. As far as rides go, there are 9 inner tube slides, 3 of which are dark. There are 5 body slides and 2 of them are speed slides. There is a family raft ride which can accomodate up to 4 people at once. Soak City also has 2 lazy rivers (one of them has waves), a wave pool, and at least 2 different areas for the kiddies.
On a hot day in the summer, expect it to be crowded. I would recommend going there right after they open or just before closing to avoid some of the crowd. (Or be a diehard like me and go early in the season when it hasn't warmed all the way up yet. The whole park will be yours.)
Inner tubes are free and are all over the park. Lockers cost only $3 for the day with a $5 key deposit.
My opinion: It is a great waterpark and definately worth the trip. I hope this helps. Have fun!

Honest truth told to me by marina gate readmissions host:

Host: Hand stamped, two cents.

Me: That's cool, I think I have two cents.

Host: I better not take it, by the time you leave here its all you'll have.

And there is Bubbles, the best kept CP secret.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! Are your ready for some speed? We've got 120 miles per hour! Are you ready to get vertical? We've got 420 feet. Are you ready for the tallest and fastest rollercoaster in the world?! ARE YOU READY FOR TOP THRILL DRAGSTER?!?
Yes I was there on the 4th for the first time and had a blast.

The way I put it Six Flags needs more parks to keep up with the one and only Cedar Point :)

Thanks, Scott! I'm taking my first trip to CP in August and I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself! Thanks to you and all the other great and helpful people on here, I feel as though I have a good idea of what it's going to be like. Absolutely awesome!!!
Last time I was at soak city trying to eat there was horrible. They only had one concession stand. The lines were really long. Everything else went great, lots of fun.
Try the starlight tickets. Even though you won't be there in the heat of the day, the lines are much shorter, its cheaper and you get more than enough time to ride every slide several times. Also, I ususally don't go in Soak City and the park on the same day... there's just too much to do.
