I found an old cedar point map, but it has no date on it. I know it is probaly from the 60's or 70's, but not shure of the exact year. Maybe someone on here can help.
Here is the map....

It's amazing how much the park has changed over time.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Well. I'm going to say '70. There's no camper village ('71), but there is WildCat, Bayern Kurve, Dodgem #2, Monster, Schwabinchen, Calypso and Super Himilaya ('70).
It has to be pre 1972, because jumbo jet is not listed yet.

I'm going with 1971 for the following three reasons..
Frontier Trail is on the map, and the Twister is behind the Wildcat, and if Camper Village didnt open till the end of the season it probably didnt make the first printing of maps...
Additions for 1971....
--Frontier Trail opens.
-Twister is relocated behind Wildcat
-Camper Village opens in the latter part of the season. It includes 224 RV sites.

Acording to cedar point, the trabant did not open till 1971, and it's on the map.

What is this "Twister" that you speak of?
Let's Get Weird.
Look behind the wildcat. Kind of a werid spot for a ride. There was a ton of room in the park at that time, I find it odd that they put it back there hidden.

Wow, i didnt know that the old shoot the rapids was around in the 70's. i knew the park had one, but i thought it was around during the early 1900's era, something like that. That's funny.......
