Wow thank god for my dv-r I would have missed it!

It was ok, nothing spectacular. Covered Superman: the Escape (considered a "thrill ride", I might add), SWAT, air, Oblivion, Dragster, and Power Tower.

I am REALLY having CP withdrawl now.

Just hearing "arms down, head back and hold on" brought a slight tear to my eye.

Reminds me of last summer when the people on Dragster wouldn't put their arms down. They kept playing the "arms down" part over and over and my little nephew (who has more sense evidently) who is three yelled "ARMS DOWN STUPID PEOPLE". Everybody was laughing because the kid had more sense than the adults who couldn't follow directions.

I wish it was May. We are so ready to go.

LOL! Now that would be funny to hear.
Did the riders actually put their arms down after he said that?
(I'm guessing they didn't.)
But never the less, it's still funny.

I feel the same way. There are so many memories in that one saying. It's like a mental picture. Same with the audio speil "...and thank you for riding Top Thrill Dragster, and the music kicks in"!

Is it May yet! :)

I feel the same way about the TTD speil, I had the same sort of thing happen to me back in Aug. I was in the second seat, when our train pulled out to the lunach spot. This two people(in front of us) would not keep there arms down. The speil was played over and over. I did not mind a bit. When a TV show that has TTD on it and they show it coming out of the station and the speil comes on. I always turn the tv or sterioe UP. :)

It was cool... to see Power Tower and Dragster make the cut. I also noticed that while talking safety they where at the point.... for those that don't have that channel Gripe to your local cable provider but for those of us on Digital Cable, Directv, or Dish Network, get a chance Monday if you missed or didn't have your VCR's or DVR Set for 3 PM EST Oh The Withdraws.....

Actually on OLN (Outdoor Life Network), I think it might be a Canadian channel, they had the top 10 thrill parks. It was about 5 years old, I think it was made shortly after MF opened. Cedar Point came in second place, Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure came in first. It was a decent show, it didn't show that much about Cedar Point, but still fulfilling. Last week on the Discovery Channel there was a show called Ultimate Thrills, it was about a group of people who were afraid of roller coasters. They were all together and had to conquer their fear. Most of the show focused of Cedar Point, but the people conquered their fear at a Paramount park, on the ride Top Gun.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Was this the episode that has Superman: The Escape, SWAT, Air, and then has Power Tower and Top Thrill Dragster at the end?

Thanx!

Well it was supposed to be on, but I guess they changed the listings because now some airplane show is on, and apparently this show was on at 2 =( *** Edited 2/14/2005 9:05:49 PM UTC by Emohnke***

Just a heads up that on the discovery channel tonight, there will be a special at 8 PM called "Coasters", about roller coaster technology.
