I was watching VH1 earlier tonight when a commercial for Cedar Point came on. I thought I was imagining this as the only amusement park commercials I ever see are for the regional parks in California on that Fox station (we have DirecTV). It was about 30 seconds long, featured stuff such as "Wanna ride the world's highest and fastest roller coaster?", "...have the most roller coasters and rides.", etc. and it used the Come On Get On song for it's background music! This is really cool, now more people will know that not just Six Flags parks exist.
Let me guess. You have cable? Then It wasn't a national commercial, rather, a commercial whose ad time was bought from your local cablesystem.
He said he had DirecTV. I thought someone said they saw and ad on Spike TV a couple weeks ago as well.
However you define "national", CP has a web address that they give on the national commercials to track how much interest there is. So, they seem to be very serious in expanding beyond being a regional park, which is something I've always thought they should do.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
yeah i was gonna post something on this but i decided not to. But i figured it was a big deal and i saw it here in florida and the only Theme park comercials we see are for Islands of Adventure and Disney.
I've been hearing some stuff from the Lemon Chill guy lately, you wanna hear what he told me?
