:Top Thrills: *2003*
"Yellow,Yellow,Yellow,Yellow,Yellow,Green" AHHH

You mean the yellow arm protruding from the tower?

That's a support arm that reaches out and around the track to support it while in mid-twist.

you gotta be a little moer specific then "the thing" ;)
I am almost certain that "the thing" on the drop part of the coaster, that looks like an elevator, but your not sure of, is an elevator. Yes, an elevator. No CP bound, why the hell would it be support for the ride? Most definitly not, its an elevator. Because an elevator is an essential part of a 420 foot tall roller coaster, because people travel up and down the tower all the time.

Good evaluation Roulette, its an elevator.

Wow, you awe us with your knowledge...not! Roulette said on the drop side of the ride. Now they could be refering to the elevator shaft/guide, but I would have thought that they would have said the "thing in the middle" rather than the "drop part" of the ride. The support arm is in the vacinity of the drop, and the elevator shaft is not.

Get over yourself steelrider33...

Can't we all just g.g...g......get along? I doubt it.
Didnt i refer to the drop part of the ride? Thats what he asked, thats what i refered to...not to what YOU would have called it.

So why dont you just go cry about it CP bound?

When I answered, I asked a question trying to clarify what they wanted to know about and then answered that question. You obviously didn't read my post right because I wasn't refering to the grey elevator shaft, but the yellow arm protruding from the tower on the drop side. I figured you would have at least an average level of reading comprehension, perhaps I overestimated you...

wow u guys really do argue over the simplest of things. it only took three posts before you were at each others throats....heheh
It's somewhat entertaining to read...I'm not sure how you'd mistake a support arm for an elevator if that was what roulette was referring to. I don't know.

Enjoy your ride on the Big Bad Bug

I can see a new video... "Geeks Gone Wild!"

tambo

Just a note, steelrider, there is an elevator on the tower, but it's in the MIDDLE of the ride, not on the drop side. So whether you were referring to the drop side or not, there is no elevator on the drop side.

I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

Actually, the elevator is not in the middle of the tower. It is slightly off-center to the drop side of the tower. Roulette's question about the "drop part of the coaster" may not have been the best choice of words, but what else is new around here? Of course, had he read some earlier topics relating exactly to this, such as this one, and this one, and this one, his question would have been answered without having to start this one thus preventing everyone's panties from getting bunched. Monty also mentioned the elevator in his first diary entry. All this research would have taken a little work on Roulette's part, but I guess it's easier to ask the question and let someone else do the work.
Sorry, i guess some people cant take jokes and obviously dont understand when im not being serious. Because of the awful description by "roulette" i was giving him a bunch of crap about "the thing" he was talking about. Thats all, i didnt know CP Bound would get all anal about a little joke in my first post, just something i thought you all would get a kick out of, and move on. Guess some people need to learn how to have a sense of humor sometimes, and not get so worked up so easily thats all.

I take constructive criticism AND jokes constantly...i just thought everyone could as well.

I dont mean to make you all mad...just trying to make sometimes boring rooms a little humorous.

Steelrider, It really did not seem like a joke at the time, but more like you like to get people pissed off at you. Now its seems as if you have been proven wrong and are trying to cover up the mistake you made.... thats just what I think though....

The best thing about Six Flags "Worlds of Adventure" is that Cedar Point is nearby!

Maybe the amount of times i say "yes roulette, your right" gives away how sarcastic i was being...or not. It really doesnt matter to me, it just some of you guys are the ones that get all pissy, its all just "good times" for me. If you wanna think that way, so be it.
That was not being sarcastic though. That was just mean harted and stupid...ya moron!
