Cool pictures. You caught me on one. The picture with guy in the black jacket with the little girl in black coat standing watching the ride is me and one of my daughters. The rest of the kids and the wife are on the ride. I always have to wait my turn.

There were a few GTTP people there this weekend. I thought I saw RaptorJo and Jeff there too....

I have to say that this past Sunday was hard times for myself and my TL on Schwabinchen. If you did not get a chance to ride Schwabinchen one last time I'm sorry. It was an honor to work on Schwabinchen the past two years, and to be the ATL this year. It was also hard to say goodbye to her. It was an honor to work controls for her final ride and to turn the power off from the back, you don't know how I was feeling or what I thought at the time it was not easy at all. I walked past her one last time on Monday when I went to process out, and most of the background area was gone but the girl was still in place. I couldn't help but start crying with my girlfriend at my side, it was truely difficult.

I went by Schwabinchen for its last ride as i was heading over to Wicked Twister(riding its last ride of the year)...Very sad it was one heck of a ride (for a spin ride) I got some pics on monday before me and my boyfriend left for home....Also dan great pics :)

Well 'Shaggy' I'm glad you got to close your ride down. It just wouldn't have been right had you not. I never rode her this season, but I did get to run her for a bit during that ever eventful Wicked Twister ride night. But what I really wanna know is what did they do with the soundtrack CD's? Also, did they let you keep her? ;)

Wow, I had a great last ride. Me, my brother in law, my uncle, my brother, and my sister all sat in a row and yelled "SCHWABINCHEN!" in order starting with the first person. Then we started randomly yelling it and by bro. in law yelled "BOOBEN!". We even had random people yelling by the end of the ride. Fun times...

Montu you know what they did with the cd soundtracks, and no they didn't let me keep her. I think they should put the girl in Town Hall

I never read it but im sure its been said, but why is it being taken out exactly, I assume somthing is replacing it??

Most likly Chaos and Troika. There are other places and rides that can be taken out for those, but you can't change what's been done.

Yes, I must say the lady from Schwab. will be missed... Jason, you'll always have the memorys. Most of the crew hated working the Schwabinchen because I know it gets boring at times when your waiting for riders. Now I think they take it as an honor of operating the ride for it's last season. Thanks Tech. Services for the music, volume, and the times where some editing needed to be done. The music, ride and the lady will be missed!!

You are right coasterchic I do believe that the former crew members of Schwabinchen will take it in memory of being the final crew of the ride.
